It feels like now more than ever, we all want to enjoy the outdoors this summer.
While there are no shortage of amazing places to visit in Los Angeles, I can never say no to spending the day in Malibu. I like to beat (some of) the traffic and start the day early.
I normally head to SunLife Organics and order the Malibu Sunrise — a combination of freshly squeezed orange, strawberry and carrot juices — or if I’m feely really hunger, I will get an açaí bowl.
Next, I’ll stop by Thorne Family Farm for some fresh produce. They have the best lettuce for salads!
I then make my way to Malibu Lumber Yard to browse of their stores before lunch at Cafe Habana. I’m obsessed with their goat cheese quesadillas. But, a meal would not be complete there without the grilled Mexican corn topped with cotija cheese and cayenne pepper.
The afternoon is reserved for hanging out the beach. It’s so stunningly beautiful and the perfect place to relax.
I finish off the day at Malibu Farm. I normally get the heart of palm linguini as watch the sunset and head back home feeling refreshed.
