I may be an entertainment reporter by day but I often moonlight as a decorator, cook, therapist, makeup artist and so much more. I’m sure many of you are in the same boat. You can think of this site as a modern day advice column that will hopefully make life fun, affordable and a little easier.

From me, that means knowing when to save and splurge. I’m the girl who paired a designer gown with a Forever 21 necklace (it cost me a grand total of $6) for a night at The Oscars, can’t resist a great cookware flash sale and gets a little competitive about my amazing Home Goods finds.

But don’t think I have all figured out. I’m a big dreamer living in the heart of Los Angeles. I’m still working out relationships, friendships and even not causing the smoke detector to go off with my latest kitchen experiments.
